CLOT 2008 Fall/Winter C.S.A. Collection

CLOT has sought to tackle some deeper issues in their upcoming 2008 fall/winter C.S.A. collection. The creation of the C.S.A. (CLOT Salvation Army) hopes to bring to light and entice people to form their own direction in society rather then fall prey to the upper echelons of society who control the moves and thoughts of many. Their releases are marked by a magnitude never before seen as it encompass items such as t-shirts, shirts, jackets, bottoms and accessories. In addition this collection also includes a collaboration with DITA on a pair of sunglasses. The items begin releasing this Saturday, October 4th.

A Bathing Ape for Wonderwall Tees

The Japanese firm Wonderwall has been at the forefront of architectural design providing some of the top names in the fashion industry with superb modern interiors. Celebrating the release of their book titled Wonderwall Masamichi Katayama Projects No.2, the company hooks up with some of their top clients to create a set of commemorative t-shirts. Included in the line up are A Bathing Ape, OriginalFake and Loopwheeler, with the designs done by Groovisions. Here’s a look at the Bape for Wonderwall tee which will be available at colette.

Samples of a potential Air Jordan I High release have been released. Featuring a clean black upper on a gum sole, the shoe is marked by an intricate laser pattern. Air Jordan I Low Phat September Release

After a largely failed attempt at attacking the skate market with the Flypside, Jordan Brand looks a little closer to home as they choose the historically skate-relevant Air Jordan I to produce the Air Jordan I Low Phat. The shoe itself is largely unchanged undergoing increased padding as the only real change. The Black/Cement colorway has been a popular choice as of late and no doubt capitalizes on the huge popularity of the Air Jordan III. A release date has been set for September 27th, 2008 with a similarly colored White/Cement color on the way as well. Available early through eBay.

Union x CLOT Tees

Two leaders albeit on opposite sides of the world, CLOT and Union have teamed up on a t-shirt in this latest re-appropriation of the famous Union logo. Combining the elements of each brand’s respective themes, the relationship was born out of a mutual respect between Union/UNDFTD’s Eddie Cruz and CLOT’s Kevin Poon, Edison Chen and Tom Chung. The shirt features the ever-recognizable Union silhouette with CLOT’s own Chinese twist as the character is seen sporting a traditional jacket and hat with ponytail, a common trend within the past. The Union logo also absorbs the CLOT ‘C’ as well. Two colorways will be produced in white and black with the white one being exclusive to the US and the black one exclusive to Hong Kong. SURRENDER RE-OPENING PARTY

If you didn’t know, Surrender has been closed for the past couple of to accommodate a massive renovation. The store will re-open this Friday with an all-new look, concept and attitude. To celebrate, the guys have brought down Masatoshi Uemura, one half of DJ team Off The Rocker alongside Shinichi Osawa, to spin at their reopening party at Velvet Underground, Zouk Singapore. SiLLY THING x Undercover “Jack Purcell” Preview

Originally working together awhile back, SiLLY THING are in the midst of another collaboration with Undercover on their version of the classic Converse Jack Purcell. The highlighting feature of the previous team-up was the re-created clear window as opposed to the traditional colored stripe, which has been maintained for this upcoming version. However this time around, the visions of both SiLLY THING and Undercover were met with various technical difficulties with over a year passing since the project’s initial conception.
