Nike SB "Concepts Lobster" Dunk

Concepts will be releasing their collaborative Nike SB "Lobster" Dunk on Saturday, May 31st. The shoe, inspired by the seafood heritage of New England, will be available in a limited edition set, available exclusively at Concepts. The first 200 pairs, which include the limited packaging, come equipped with a lobster claw rubber band, a tee shirt, a condiment box (which includes lobster shell cracker, fork, bib, an extra set of laces, and wet nap) and a poster, all put into a traditional paper bag used by typical, New England lobster retailers. Not only will the packaging and bag be branded with the "Concepts Fishing Company" graphic, but the release at Concepts will also be catered by Legal Seafoods, who will be providing lobster appetizers. The release will be followed by a raffle for some additional exclusive goodies. The special pack will be extremely limited to 200 pairs, and will retail for $150 USD and the first 50 pairs will come with a special, limited edition wooden box.

Nike Vandal Supreme

Most everybody knows that Nike has been blazing campaign trail remembering in their truest forms some of the brands most iconic models. While last year featured the Air Force 1, this year the limelight is shared with other models such as the Dunk and to a lesser extent classics such as the Vandal and retro running styles. The Vandal Supreme here references OG colors and the unmistakable nylon upper which new fans and veterans alike yearn for. The vintage treatment continues from Nike's end as the Vandal features a discolored midsole and other wrinkled upper. A visible of a Dunk High featuring the Vandal Supreme nylon upper has also been confirmed, but no word if that will be released later this year.

Cherry Pop by Jahan Loh

Taiwan based Singaporean artist Jahan Loh has built up a strong resume with his full out imagery and work. His often sexually charged work takes to the stage for his upcoming debut solo show Cherry Pop kicking off this weekend. The exhibit is a mixture of sculptures and acrylic paintings with the theme of cherry pop. The show debuts on May 17th and runs until June 15th.

WTAPS x Vans Syndicate Rudeez

Last month, a collection of Vans' upcoming Syndicate collaboration (post was subsequently removed) with WTAPS was revealed. Seen here is the third installment within this ongoing collection, the Rudeez was definitely worth the wait. The encapsulated rubber toecap features a wing-tip pattern with brogue details throughout. Although not the first instance of wing-tip meets sneaker, the extended rubber toecap in this form seems to be a first. Look for a 2008 fall release.

Air Jordan Spiz'ike Black Gold

The Spiz'ike has been one of Jordan Brand's more successful mash-ups as predecessors such as the Dub-Zero slowly fade away into obscurity. The original release of the Spiz'ike campaign saw somewhat comical colorways. However, the Spiz'ike has matured nicely allowing for solid colorways to come through. Stussy x Neighborhood 2008 Summer Boneyards Collection

Further developments into the upcoming Boneyards collection slated for this summer have surfaced. The collection is driven by the participation of two high powered brands in Japan's Neighborhood and internationally known Stussy. The collective theme revolves around San Pedro's local secret surf spot, Boneyards. An area known very much for its gang culture as well as its strong affiliation with surf and punk culture, the collection draws from many of these elements. Various high profile artists are involved in the project including Mister Cartoon, Estevan Oriol, Jon Hall, Chuey Quintanar, Juan Puente, Jeremy Carnahan, Robert Abeyta Jr. and Eric Dessen.
