CLOT 2009 Spring/Summer “CLOTone” Collection April Releases

Hong Kong brand CLOT begins the unveiling of their 2009 spring/summer “CLOTone” collection this month. While they took a decidedly more serious tone to their collection with last season’s CS Army, the CLOTone drop is little more casual and fun as they switch things up with five mini-capsules within the overall encompassing collection. Colors and themes associated with Earth, Power, Playful, Pure and Dark were chosen based on assumed extensions of every person. Some of the pieces include various t-shirts, shorts, jackets and accessories. Available towards the end of April both online and at JUICE.

NEIGHBORHOOD IDLE HANDS BELT Closer Look

One of the marquee items to emerge out of the NEIGHBORHOOD Idle Hands collection done in collaboration with figurehead Jason Jesse is the aptly titled Idle Hands belt. Limited to only 45 pieces, the belts take on a one-of-a-kind aesthetic throughout the leather portions with detailed metalwork finishing off the piece. The two clasping hands are available in a few different colors while the belts each include a certain raw, self-customized aesthetic to them.

PAM 2009 Spring/Summer Collection

Never one to shy away from bold and often cryptic patterns and prints, PAM continues on a well-traveled path with a new selection of print t-shirts and sweatshirts have hit Edmonton, Canada’s HAVEN. British music group UNKLE has put together a selection of works to represent and enhance the upcoming 2009 autumn/winter collection for Alexander McQueen’s McQ collection. Coming in CD-form, the package features a clean envelope packaging with the use of UNKLE’s skull theme on the mix CD itself.

adidas Originals by Originals FW ‘09 Kazuki Kuraishi’s Collection Preview

Sneakers n’ Stuff offer a glimpse into the 2009 fall/winter collection of Originals by Originals as designed by Kazuki Kuraishi. The collection continues very much on the technical and performance tip with a special sub-collection seen within the release as well involving NEIGHBORHOOD. The outerwear looks to be some serious business as well as the re-appropriation of the NBHD logo to feature a Trefoil crown. Interestingly enough, Kazuki also looks to take a page out of Jeremy Scott’s books with the liberal use of leopard prints. We’re definitely looking forward to more looks down the line.

Nike Vandal Hi “Heavy Metal” White Colorway

In continuance with their “Heavy Metal” theme of last year, Nike whips up another colorway in their classic Vandal Hi model. The sneakers sport a studded tonal upper combined with heavyweight nylon and metallic silver accenting including strap studs. Much more toned down that its predecessors, this new release is now available through Proper.

Nike Blazer Hi “Jackie Robinson” Pack

Paying homage to baseball icon Jackie Robinson, Nike works up a new pack of Blazer Hi’s featuring the colors that have become synonymous with the Brooklyn/Los Angeles Dodgers since their inception into the National League in 1890. Most widely recognized for his roles as a superstar player as well as breaking the color barrier within Major League Baseball, Jackie remains a cultural legend within the world of sports and civil rights alike. This new collection, in his honor, boasts the trademark Brooklyn logo on each tongue as well the traditional Brooklyn “B” emblazoned in an all-over Diamond print format. Having already seen fragment design produce gadget accessories, most notably their collabo iPhone case with Incase, this newest venture stays within their bounds of simplicity, functionality, and creativity. Made to clean anything with a lens, most notably a camera, Hiroshi Fujiwara previews a set of hand-held cleaners made of neoprene and stamped with fragment design logos in three colorways. There is no concrete information regarding a release as of yet, so stay tuned.

Delta x CLOT T-shirt

Dutch artist Delta has seen himself at the center of various high-profile projects in the past as he teams-up with popular Asian brand CLOT in a special graphic t-shirt. In Delta’s signature block-styles, the graphic is paired with some bold colors which extend into a line-pattern on the bottom hem. Available at Juice in both men’s and women’s styles on April 3rd, 2009. A suggested retail price of $480 HKD (approximately $62 USD) has been set.
